Expert Advice
What strength garbage bag should I buy?
• Light – crumbled paper, paper cups, etc
• Medium – packaging waster, cardboard, wet paper, etcc
• Heavy – light wood, metal scraps, wet cardboard, etcc
• Extra Heavy – Heavy, sharp, or wet trashc
• Super Extra Heavy – Warehouse, Cafeteria, or Facility waste

What is high density vs. low density garbage bags?
• High Density Trash Bags- much thinner than low density liners, but are capable of holding greater weight; They feature better puncture resistance and load capacity.

• Low Density Trash Bags – Recommended for sharper objects and tougher transport conditions. They feature greater tear resistance compared to high density garbage bags.

What is a mil vs. a micron?
• Mils – generally used to denote the thickness of Low Density liners (convert to microns by multiplying the number of mils x 25.4)

• Microns – generally used to denote the thickness of High Density liners (convert to mils by dividing the number of microns by 25.4)

What do the garbage bag bottom seals do?
• Star Seal - This is the most common type of seal and the most reliable of the three. It eliminates gaps along the seal line, which allows these liners to more easily take the shape of any size/style garbage can. They are also popular because they more evenly distribute weight within the bag – maximizing load capacity and preventing leaks.

• Gusset Seal – Used on flat-style trash bags; An economical choice recommended for light loads only (paper, etc)

• Flat Seal – Create strong bottom seals to prevent bottom leaks, but may leak from the corners due to design. Their flat seal also prevents them from conforming as easily to trash containers.

What is the difference between 1 and 2 ply toilet paper?
Traditionally, 1 ply toilet paper means it is one layer of paper, and 2 ply means it is 2 layers of paper. In the past, 2 ply toilet paper was always thicker and usually assumed to be better. However, now many toilet papers are made of only 1 layer of paper, yet may be thicker and stronger than 2 layers.   Check out our Household Toilet Paper for 1 and 2-ply toilet paper.

What is a butyl based cleaner?
Butyl is chemical that breaks down grease and stains, so if there is a cleaner that is butyl based, it will be very tough solvent. The good thing is, it is an excellent cleaner, but the bad thing is that butyl is a solvent and is not considered eco-friendly.

What's the difference between Concentrated and Ready-To-Use cleaners?
Concentrated means you have to add water. Ready-To-Use is available to be used immediately without any alteration to the product.

What happens if you don't dilute the concentrate?
Many people think that if you use concentrate in it's original form, it is a stronger chemical. However, this is completely untrue. The fact is, the concentrated product is designed to be combined with water, and will not work effectively if not mixed properly.

Is buying a Concentrate cheaper?
In short, Yes. With concentrated cleaners, all you need to do is add water and normally get over 10x the amount. For example, one 1.5 liter bottle of Fantastik Super Concentrate All Purpose Cleaner makes 14, 32 ounce bottle of Ready-To-Use spray, for only dollars more.

What does "eco-friendly" even mean?
Eco-friendly means that the product is safer for the environment. Until recently, there was no regulation regarding what could be considered "green" but recently the EPA designed a new label called "Design for Environment" or "DfE" for short. If a product has this label, it means that the EPA agrees that this product is safe for the environment and for your family. CleaningProductsWorld.com sells many of these products, check under the Eco-Friendly section to shop.

What's the difference between Para and Non-Para Urinal Blocks?
